Vice President, System Change Management, Chief Compliance Officer
Richard Bryan has more than 11 years of total service at Overlake. In his current role as Vice President, System Change Management, Chief Compliance Officer, Richard has executive oversight of the Epic electronic health record implementation project. His other areas of responsibility include Compliance, Risk Management, Contract Management and Regulatory Readiness.
Richard has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in a variety of staff, managerial and executive level roles in both civilian and military settings. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Reserve. Richard has co-authored two books; Handling Difficult Patients: A Nurse Managers Guide and Managing Challenging Resident Behaviors. Richard is a graduate of Union University, where he received a bachelor of science in nursing, and Loyola University - New Orleans, where he received a master of science in nursing with a focus on health care systems management.
