Overlake Opens New Medical Clinic in Downtown Bellevue

Bellevue, WA (September 29, 2010)– Overlake Hospital Medical Center will expand its network of medical clinics when it opens a new clinic on Monday, October 4 to serve the growing population living and working in Bellevue’s downtown core. The clinic will open with two primary care physicians on staff and feature same-day appointments. In the near future, two additional primary care physicians will be added along with an advanced registered nurse practitioner.

Located on the first floor of the First Mutual Bank Building at 400 108th Avenue NE, the 6,000-square-foot facility features a spacious lobby, 12 exam rooms, one procedure room and point-of-care lab testing. The clinic’s Northwest-contemporary interior design reflects its urban surroundings and provides a comfortable and soothing patient experience.

“Overlake is working to address the shortage of primary care physicians in our region by increasing our physician and clinic network,” said Alan Ertle, MD, Overlake’s chief medical officer and vice president of network development, “and offering those in downtown Bellevue convenient access to excellent preventive and primary medical care.”

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public can contact the clinic at 425-635-6350 or learn more online at www.overlakehospital.org/clinics. Overlake is planning a public open house event later this fall.

Other Overlake medical clinics are located on the Bellevue campus and in Issaquah, and Overlake operates Senior Health Centers in Bellevue and Mercer Island.
