Hughes spent the past 11 years in private practice in Bellevue and will continue to care for his patients in Issaquah. “After years of running a solo practice, this is a great opportunity to join a trusted and established provider like Overlake, where I can team with additional physicians and support staff and offer patients a wider range of healthcare services including electronic medical records and on-site urgent care,” said Hughes. “I also believe my sports medicine background will be a great fit for this community.”

Hughes has spent the last 20 years as team physician and program medical director for the athletic program at Mount Si High School and advises the Issaquah, Lake Washington and Snoqualmie Valley school districts on developing sports training programs.

In addition to primary care, Overlake Medical Center Issaquah offers a 24-hour Urgent Care Clinic, an Anticoagulation Clinic, Breast Screening Center, Women’s Clinic and community education classroom. Primary care doctors are currently accepting new patients.
