Overlake Welcomes New Providers

Overlake continues to expand its primary care and specialty clinic teams to meet growing Eastside needs

Bellevue, Wash. (Oct. 24, 2016) – Overlake Medical Center announced today the addition of nine new team members; including Dr. Joel Wilson who joined Overlake Medical Clinics Cardiology team.

A number of Overlake primary care and specialty providers are currently accepting new patients, including the latest additions to the team:

Joel Wilson, MD, joined Overlake Medical Clinics Cardiology from the University of California, San Diego, where he was director of the advanced cardiac imaging program and assistant clinical professor of medicine and radiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington, where he also completed his residency. His fellowship in cardiovascular diseases was completed at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, and his fellowship in cardiovascular MRI and CT was completed at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Wilson is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, cardiovascular CT, echocardiography, internal medicine and nuclear cardiology. Dalyn Huveldt, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined Overlake Medical Clinics Cardiology. She received a bachelor’s in nursing from West Suburban College of Nursing in Oak Park, Illinois, and a master’s in nursing from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Richard Geary III, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who joined Overlake’s Outpatient Psychiatry team. Dr. Geary received his medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he also completed his residency and a fellowship in forensic psychiatry. Soumya Donohoe, MSN, ARNP, AOCNP, is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner who joined Overlake Medical Clinics Medical Oncology team. She received her master of science in nursing from Yale University. The Medical Oncology clinic can be reached at 425.454.2148.

Kimberlee Van Der Kolk, ARNP-C, MSN, joined Overlake Medical Clinics Issaquah. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles, California, and her master’s in nursing from California State University, Long Beach. Rachel Sternoff, ARNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner who joined Overlake Medical Clinics Downtown Bellevue. She received a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of South Carolina and completed her doctor of nursing practice at the University of Washington. Rowena Reyrao, MD, is a board-certified family practice physician who joined Overlake’s newest primary care clinic in the Lake Hills community of Bellevue. Dr. Reyrao attended medical school at the University of Philippines in Manila, and completed both her residency and internship at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Kentaro Nishino, MD, joined Overlake’s Senior Health Clinic. Dr. Nishino received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed his residency. His fellowship in geriatric medicine was completed at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Dr. Nishino is board certified in geriatric and internal medicine. In addition, two long-time Overlake-affiliated physicians have joined Overlake’s new Infectious Disease clinic:

Peter Hashisaki, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Washington. He completed his internship and residency at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, and a fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.

Edward Leonard, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington, and a fellowship in infectious disease at Stanford. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
