Clinical Care Congress

The Clinical Care Congress at Overlake Hospital Medical Center is committed to promoting quality patient care in a cost-effective manner. The Congress supports the mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital. Clinical Care Congress participates in the development of the goals and objectives of the hospital.

The Clinical Care Congress supports a decentralized organization that places the responsibility and authority for decision-making at the level closest to the situation, thereby supporting the goal of delivering the highest possible level of quality patient care in an environment conducive to professional practice.

We believe that patient care at Overlake is a collaborative effort of all healthcare team members: nurses, physicians and all allied professional services. Further, we believe that the effort of all team members should be directed toward promoting the highest level of wellness for every patient.

We believe that learning and professional development must be continuous and pertinent. We are accountable to the individual patient, to the Overlake community and to each other as professionals.
