Overview

The Purchasing Department oversees the hospital's supply buying, supply and service and maintenance contracts, the capital equipment acquisition process, price negotiations, and forms and vendor management.

The Purchasing Department enjoys a collaborative atmosphere with a high level of professionalism. All of the hospital departments are our special customers.

Career Paths

Two logical career paths within the Purchasing Department is from Buyer to Senior Buyer, and Senior Buyer to Contracts Specialist.

Classes can be taken to enhance skills, if needed.

Work Hours/Shifts

630 a.m. to 5 p.m., with different shifts within those hours.

6 FTEs, including four buyers, one contract specialist and one manager.
