Description of Benefits
It is important to us that you have coverage for both preventive healthcare and life’s unexpected medical issues. All three of our medical plans are designed with this priority in mind. You may choose from either the Premera Blue Cross PPO Basic Plan, the Premera Blue Cross Premium Plan or the Group Health HMO Plan.
Details regarding the differences in plans will be provided and discussed during your New Hire Sign-up Orientation.
Overlake partners with Washington Dental Service to cover preventive, routine and major restorative care. Washington Dental Service is Washington state’s largest dental benefits company and has an extensive list of member dentists from which to choose.
Overlake provides Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no cost for full-time employees, and Basic Life Insurance for all part-time employees in a budgeted position of 48 hours or more per two-week pay period. Covered employees may also purchase Supplemental Life Insurance coverage for themselves and Dependent Life Insurance coverage for their spouse and eligible children.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
If you are a full-time or part-time employee in a budgeted position of 48 hours or more per two-week pay period, we provide you this coverage at no cost. This benefit helps protect you and your family from loss of income should you suffer a disabling illness or injury that prevents you from working for an extended time.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
We offer Paid Time Off (PTO), which is used for vacation, holidays and sick days. All full- and part-time employees working at least 16 hours per pay period begin accruing PTO hours on their hire date and can begin using PTO hours immediately upon accrual, as authorized by their supervisor. PTO hours are accrued based on years of service, your job and the number of hours worked.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
This optional plan allows you to pay for healthcare insurance premiums and for eligible healthcare and/or dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis. By saving you the money you would have had to pay in taxes, the plan can save a typical family hundreds of dollars per year.
Overlake's three-part retirement program gives you a well-rounded system to save for a secure retirement.
Voluntary Employee Tax Deferred Program – The 403(b) allows you to save before-tax dollars toward retirement.
Overlake Contribution Plan – The 401(a) rewards eligible employees for saving with a 100 percent matching contribution of up to six percent of your annual salary (based on years of service).
Service Contribution Plan – The 401(a) provides eligible employees a two percent gross pay contribution.
