Orientation to Overlake Medical Center
Orientation is designed to assist you with your initial introduction to Overlake. We are committed to providing you with a thorough orientation that will help in your long-term career development at Overlake by ensuring that you get the information you need to succeed in your new position.
Orientation sessions will acquaint you with our Mission, Vision and Shared Values; introduce you to polices, benefits and critical safety policies and procedures; and provide general information about your employment with the hospital.
Depending on your position, you may be required to attend Nursing Orientation as well.
In addition, you will be given a Department Orientation to provide you with specific department policies, procedures and responsibilities.
- You are required to attend New Hire Sign-up Orientation on your first day at Overlake. This orientation will take place prior to starting work in your department.
- New Employee Orientation attendance is required for all employees within the first three months of employment. Your recruiter will schedule you for this orientation at the time of your offer.
- You may need to attend Nursing Orientation, depending on your position. Your recruiter will discuss this with you before your first day.
