Overlake's childbirth and parenting classes can help you prepare for one of the most important events of your life. As soon-to-be parents, you'll find classes to be a great outlet for asking questions, exploring options for birth and parenting, and connecting with other expecting families. We offer Interactive classes and reliable information. ~ Free text books are given out in our Preparation for Childbirth & Newborn Care class and Breastfeeding class ~

Refund Policy
There are no refunds for missed classes. Class cancellations received by the registrar seven days prior to the class are entitled to a full refund. Please call 425-688-5259 or e-mail the class registrar with any questions. Classes, schedules and fee are subject to change. Please call or email if you need to reschedule any of your classes. If you are suffering from cold or flu symptoms within the 7 day policy please call or email to reschedule your class.
Inclement Weather Policy
If Overlake Hospital Family and Community Education programs are cancelled due to inclement weather, Overlake will make every effort to notify participants via phone or email. Check your class section or class calendar or call the class registration line at 425-688-5259 or the hospital operator (425-688-5000) if you are unsure if your class is being held. At all times, your safety is our first priority. Use your best judgment: if classes are being held but it is unsafe for you drive there, please stay home and call us ASAP for rescheduling information."

Free - New and expectant parents have a resource to guide them through their pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life: Overlake's weekly parenting e-mail. This free service offers expectant parents customized information, news and resources from the parent education staff, and allows the hospital team to develop a richer and more supportive relationship with parents.
