Overlake's lung cancer team, made up of a variety of specialists, meets regularly to review each case to ensure patients receive the best care possible. Our Lung Cancer Interdisciplinary Conference meets twice monthly to discuss patient care and determine the best course of treatment.
Our lung cancer navigator, Kelly Brajcich, MSW, OSW-C, is available to guide patients and their families through the complexities of lung cancer treatment. As the liaison between a patient's primary care provider and Overlake's cancer care team, she helps establish a seamless individualized care plan.
Our lung cancer team consists of the following providers:
- Thoracic surgeons
- Medical oncologists
- Radiation oncologists
- Lung cancer navigator
Lung cancer patients may also interact with social workers, nutritionists, rehabilitation staff, clinical trials nurses, and pastoral care during their treatment process. The Cancer Resource Center provides patients with resources to help with understanding their care and provides information on supportive services offered at Overlake and within the community.
