Medical Imaging

Overlake offers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical imaging services as a result of our acquisition of Washington Imaging Services.

We are proud to offer a filmless environment — complete with a picture archiving communications systems (PACS). The PACS digitally stores, transmits and displays medical images allowing for immediate access to patient information and increased efficiency.

Services

Our state-of-the-art technology includes a new GE 64-slice CT, new digital and computed radiography equipment, and a new Philips Skylight dual head nuclear medicine gamma camera. This technology, combined with the compassion and caring of the medical imaging staff at Overlake, provides a healing environment where medical excellence is standard.

Five-star services offered at Overlake include computerized and digital radiography (X-Ray), Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Ultrasound (US) and Interventional Radiology (IR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) which includes breast MRI.

Scheduling

Medical Imaging services are available 24 hours a day. Walk-ins are welcome for exams that do not require preparation procedures.

To obtain a compact disc of your medical images taken at Overlake, please call 425-688-5564 and choose option 3 from the voicemail menu.

Did You Know?

A registered technologist specializes in radiography and radiation physics. He/she must complete a two-year intensive program and successfully pass a written registry examination. Due to strict standards, hospitals often employ the most talented and skilled professionals in this field.

The physician with a subspecialty in a particular area offers the patient heightened insight and expertise. Subspecialty training gives the physician a greater breadth and depth of knowledge which benefits the patient.
