Overlake Medical Clinics Breast Surgery

With 30 years of combined experience, our two dedicated breast surgeons, Dr. Richard Clarfeld and Dr. Kristi Harrington, provide compassionate, individualized care to our patients. Patient education is an important part of our program so that women know the options and resources available to them. We believe this approach maximizes success and minimizes fears about living with and treating breast cancer.

In addition to our dedicated breast surgeons, the clinic team includes Mary "Muff" Heffernan, MN, ARNP, AOCNP, a board certified adult nurse practitioner specializing in the treatment and prevention of breast diseases and cancer. She also facilitates the Overlake Breast Cancer Survivorship clinic, a clinic designed to address the unique needs of breast cancer survivors.

The Breast Surgery team takes a multidisciplinary approach to its practice, working collaboratively with other Overlake staff, including medical oncologists, pathologists, breast radiologists, plastic surgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, technicians and social workers.
