The Overlake Outpatient Occupational Therapy Department helps you reach maximum functional independence in activities of daily living through instruction and training, muscle re-education and adaptive equipment.

We treat clients with:

  • Neurological injury
  • Orthopedic injury
  • Repetitive trauma syndromes
  • Arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia

Our Services

Evaluation and treatment of:

  • Activities of daily living Arm function
  • Hand function
  • Finger-splinting
  • Functional electrical stimulation for the shoulder, arm and hand

Instruction in:

  • Adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Energy conservation
  • Management of fatigue, stress and pain
  • Home safety evaluations
  • Driver's screenings (for neurological diseases and early dementia)
  • Job-site analysis
