The Health Equation: You + Overlake = Good Health

More than 400 business and community leaders joined us on November 17 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue to explore how Overlake is keeping people healthy and well, and how personalized medicine is changing the face of healthcare. We especially thank Dr. Lee Hood, one of the most groundbreaking thinkers in science today, who discussed how revolutionary research on the human genome and the relationship of genetics to our health has given us powerful new tools to take charge of our own health and wellness.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our pre-event Wellness Fair, offering health screenings and advice, ergonomic demos, nutritional cooking tips, Zico Coconut Water samples, chair massages and more!

We are grateful to our generous sponsors and everyone who contributed, helping us raise more than $260,000. If you've not yet had a chance, it's not too late to make your donation!

Suggested donation: $150

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Lee Hood

Dr. Hood is nationally recognized for his early work with the human genome project, which led to the ability to sequence individual DNA. His Seattle-based Institute for Systems Biology is pioneering new approaches to “P4 Medicine”: predictive, preventive, personalized and participatory. He believes health care will be transformed as individuals become better equipped to take responsibility for their own wellness.
