Why should I support Overlake?
The Eastside community depends on Overlake to be ready with essential healthcare services when you need us most. As a nonprofit organization that does not receive tax dollars, the hospital depends on members of the community—individuals, businesses and organizations—to help us make key investments so that Overlake can continue to provide world class care close to where you live and work.
How does Overlake use charitable gifts?
Every dollar you give goes directly to enhance patient care in the service line or program of your choice. Check here for Overlake's current key fundraising initiatives.
What types of gifts may I give?
You can make a contribution in a number of ways, now or over your lifetime. You can make a gift today in the form of cash, checks or credit card donations. If your company has a workplace giving campaign, you can designate your gift to Overlake. Overlake accepts gifts of appreciated assets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds or real estate. How may I include Overlake in my will?
Estate gifts are very meaningful and much appreciated. You will find detailed information about how to include Overlake in your will here. Are the Overlake Hospital Foundation and Auxiliaries licensed nonprofit organizations?
The Overlake Hospital Foundation and Auxiliaries are both licensed by the State of Washington as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. For tax purposes this means that your gifts are tax-deductible, as allowed by current laws. How can I attend a Foundation or Auxiliary event?
Overlake’s two signature events are the

Is my gift eligible for employer matching?
Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees, often doubling the impact of the gift. When making a gift to Overlake, check with your employer to learn whether a matching gift may be available. If your employer participates in the United Way workplace giving program or has its own Employee Giving Program, you may designate your gift to Overlake.
