We're searching for a Director of Revenue Cycle & Contracting to set the future direction of our revenue cycle and contracting functions. This highly visible role reports directly to the CFO.  If selected, you'll be responsible for payer contract negotiations and all aspects of billing, collection activities and denials management. Your direct reports will include the Manager of Contracting, Manager of Patient Financial Services and Manager of Utilization Review.


You will also be an active member of the Compliance Committee, working closely with our Compliance Specialist to achieve compliance standards related to charging and billing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • HFMA membership desired.

  • Minimum five years in financial management, of which three  must be in in payer contracting and reimbursement, either on the payer side or provider side, ideally in a hospital acute setting.

  • Experience in the use of hospital financial decision support and service line analysis. 

  • Direct payer negotiating experience and the use of a computerized contract management software system.

  • Knowledge of the use of Epic as a billing system is required and as a contract modeling system is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications, especially MS Word©, MS PowerPoint ©, and MS Excel© required.
