Practice Philosophy

Dr. Chimes's practice philosophy is that when treating musculoskeletal conditions, it's essential to view injuries in the context of the entire human being.  Oftentimes, an acute injury such as a lumbar herniated disk may have been precipitated by poor posture, not enough sleep, or a suboptimal exercise program.  Therefore, Dr. Chimes uses a combination of advanced technical skills (such as ultrasound- or fluoroscopically- guided injections) to treat the immediate injury, but also looks at the patient comprehensively to assess their exercise regimen, nutrition, sleep schedule, stress mediation, and overall lifestyle to prevent further injuries and enhance wellness.
