Dr. Ambera Dedic Endocrynolgy Overlake Medical Center has given me all of the above questions Medical attention and care to the uttermost. She and I work very hard to listen and understand one another for the fun of having a good satisfactory visit with our best positive outcomes in mind. We are agreed upon making good gainful data happen from appointment to appointment. Dr. Ambera Dedic answers squarely on topic all my prepared listed questions about my medications and glucose tools. She answers with clarity all my questions about the endocrynology science and complications of both my individual body and for seniors in general.

She's amazing! And spent plenty of time talking through everything, and gets to know you as a person, not just a number.

She makes certain I understand our goals and objective for my health going forward, coordinates with other physicians as needed to make certain our treatments plans work together seamlessly. Did a test without informing me, the test was not needed, if she had read notes from previous dr it was clearly stated I had to stop medication. They did not go through the history properly.

Only issue was that the computer in the patient room was not working

My OMC Endocrynology Nurse Practioner directly answered my medication management questions in a perfectly amiable way of speaking with me. She repeated my concerns back to me clearly and further explained and answered my management information. How to prepare for a fasting blood draw. Assisting my blood draw orders to be complete for my first next appt with my new Primary Care Physician. That was a big help to my wondering about this during July having had several overnight low cgm alarms that I had to wake and drink and eat 15 carbs/15 minutes rule. She coached me about managing my glimepiride and Ozempic also.

I am a physician and this clinic, specifically Ambera Dedic has positively changed my life. She has gotten my A1C down from near 10 to 6 and I suspect it will get into the 5s. She is very skilled and takes the time to discuss alternatives and therapies. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a great ability to communicate with her patients!

Ambera Dedic reviwed with me both a current A1c blood test that day taken in office, and the glucose monitor 2 week report. Both the blood test and my continuous glucose monitor 2 week report data were my best data reaching my goal and target for controled management to date in 4 years or so. We were pleased with positive results of course. I had been reading more books on the topic of diabetes 2 which encouraged and helped me.

Ambera does a great job assessing my health condition, explaining plan of action while including me in the decision making, is an excellent communicator, and thinks about how best to support patient throughout the appt, and how to help them help themselves in/out of the appt. I trust her knowledge and appreciate her informative, compassionate, & straight forward approach to patient care.
