      The doctor wrote a great after visit summary. My only concern is whether he is proactive enough with early detection of conditions.

      I asked the doctor about an issue with my foot and was immediately referred to a specialist. I think he could have done a basic physical examination and perhaps ordered X-rays before going to a specialist

      Dr Perlmutter's demeanor is a little gruff, but he obviously knows what he's doing. He doesn't mess around, he's in, tells you what's going on, and he's out.
