He takes his time to answer questions and explain things, his depth of knowledge and understanding and ability to help the patient understand is remarkable, and seems to truly and authentically care about me and my health. I came to the clinic and the nurse practitioner diagnosed my arterial fibrillation very quickly and cut me off to the cardiac clinic without delay. She was very kind and considerate and efficient.

Doc Heywood's review of the results from my CAM test was most helpful in determining a plan of treatment.

We had two appointments 2 hours apart but the doctor talked with the technician and got us into our second appointment right after our first.

Dr. Heywood is always well-informed about my medical history and is attentive and knowledgeable about my care.

Dr. Heywood is attentive, careful, and knowledgeable about his practice. He had read my chart and test results before the appointment and he is good at answering questions fully. He offered me another important decision early in my treatment and allowed me to choose a procedure that did not involve a surgical procedure. I was happy with my decision.

*Dr. Heywood was his usual excellent self - discussed my health and asked me about medications and how I was feeling about. We mutually agreed to continue - not that I would have over-ridden his advice.
