4.8 of 5 stars
119 Ratings, 27 ReviewsThe ratings and comments seen on provider profiles are gathered from patient surveys, which are conducted by an independent patient satisfaction organization called Press Ganey. Star ratings are only displayed for surveyed Overlake providers who have accumulated 30 or more survey responses in outpatient clinical settings. While we are committed to publishing both positive and negative comments, we also maintain a rigorous process to review and remove comments that are profane, libelous, unrelated to the provider, or violate patient privacy.

Dr. Riley was professional and provided information that helped explain what was happening as well as how to treat it. I particularly liked that he explained WHY I am taking the medicine that I am, citing research and studies that show how it helps my condition. Additionally, he gave a detailed description of what was happening to me, as well as explicitly stated that I will be okay and there's nothing to be worried about. I greatly appreciate his ability to both inform and soothe the patient, letting you know what's happening with your body while assuaging any fears you may have about your condition. Phenomenal doctor.

Dr Riley Is awesome - He listened to me babble, then he gave me some clarification about my issue in a way I could understand, and then we discussed options, and I made the decision to have the procedure.

The MD was polite and apologized for the delay in seeing him. He was attentive and interested in my health issues. We discussed undertaking an invasive course of action without delay, which would require a sophisticated medical expertise. I believed him well-qualified to proceed on the basis of the recommendation of the referring physician and the qualities he demonstrated in the office visit.

It is good news that Dr Riley found my condition insignificant. However, his mannerisms came across as dismissive. "I understand why this may have alarmed you and the good news is you don't need to worry" would have been ideal. Instead, he literally shrugged his shoulders and said something to the order of "meh, that's nothing". Perhaps that is how he would prefer his doctor to talk to him, but I left feeling belittled. It was insulting to then have to pay hundreds of dollars (I have a high deductible plan as a self employed Person) for this regrettable interaction.

Doctor Riley is at the top of the heap. There are inherent risks involved in what he does. He manages them well. And knows the route to success.

Cardiology is by nature an attention getter. Dr. Riley gets that and gets his analysis and vision of the way forward across very clearly relieving a great deal of patient anxiety while painting a very accurate picture of the situation.

Very impressive-gave me confidence to choose to have the procedure performed.
