Visiting Hours

To Reach a Patient

If you would like to speak with a patient at Overlake, call 425-688-5000 and press 0 to speak with an operator.

Family members and other visitors are welcome anytime; visiting hours in the hospital are not limited. However, please remember our patients are in the hospital for healing and rest. In consideration of the patient and any roommates, visitors should plan their stays to be considerate of the patients' needs. To avoid spreading contagious illnesses like colds or flu, we ask that friends and family who feel ill please not visit patients in the hospital.

Waiting Areas

There are special waiting areas throughout the hospital for your family and friends with facilities for connecting to the Internet.

After Hours Security

To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we have a special system for visitors entering the main hospital at night. After 9 p.m., all visitors must enter the hospital through the Emergency & Trauma Center located on the first floor of the South Tower. The other entrances to the hospital re-open at 5 a.m.

Cell Phone Use

For the safety of patients and to ensure the integrity of medical devices, cell phones must be turned off prior to entering patient care areas. If you must use your cell phone, please make sure you are in a public area, and always more than five feet from any medical equipment.
