New Graduate Nurse Residency Program
As a recent graduate, you’re probably wondering which new graduate residency program is right for you. With so many programs to choose from, it’s important to select an exceptional program that is designed with the needs of new graduates in mind.
There are many variables to consider—some programs are longer than others, some pay more than others, many do not offer sufficient guided clinical time or a formal mentor program. Ultimately, many programs do not meet the needs of new graduate nurses. Is it any wonder that the first-year nurse turnover rate is so alarmingly high?
With this in mind, Overlake has partnered with Versant to provide you with the most innovative and comprehensive New Graduate Nurse Residency Program available. Unlike most other new graduate programs, our Versant-adopted program is designed to be a highly supportive and appropriately paced learning experience. Upon successful completion of this paid residency in 18-22 weeks, you will reflect the competence and self-assurance of a nurse who has been in practice for 18 months.

- Individualized Rotation and Orientation
The New Graduate Nurse Residency Program will be offered twice a year—March and August. Our next residency will be August 2012 and will be for internal and/or past employees who are recent graduates only.
