I have already recommended Dr. White to others. It is difficult to feel comfortable given the type of care, but Dr. White managed to do just that. He was empathetic, knowledgeable, funny, and a great collaborator in forming the plan of care.

All providers explained their procedures well, gave me opportunity to ask questions, answered thoroughly and discussed risks to procedures.

MD did not come speak to me after procedure.

All the steps of exam and procedure were explained in great details by Dr. White.

Once I was out of surgery Dr. White never came to check on me or spoke to my wife. I found this odd and think it speaks to your commitment to patient care. There was a med tech there who talked to me but she didn't know much. I told them I felt like I had bronchitis and was coughing very heavily. The anesthesiologist (Dr. Fan) came to see me (I had to specifically request this) and he told me I would be OK once I got home. An hour later I was in urgent care and then in an ambulance to the ER because I aspirated some gastric acid into my lung. They should have paid more attention to what was going on with me. My impression was that they just wanted to get you out the door as soon as possible to make way for the next patient. Needless to say, my experience here was really bad

No concerns

He spoke way too fast in describing the procedure and possible complications. He's obviously given this spiel hundreds of times, so it's automatic to him, but he should consider that the patient is hearing it for the first time and needs time to digest what he/she is hearing. To his credit, he slowed down at my request.

Dr. White is excellent. Very knowledgeable and explained every step of the process in detail.

Dr. White and my anistiologist were both wonderful. I was told what would happen to me when given the anistita and I felt very comfortable with him Dr. White was great, he made me feel at ease and explained in detail what he was going to do and the steps during and following the procedure. He is exactly who you would want to perform your surgery.

Did not receive explanation on why the seton placement was required during the surgery.

Dr White spoke way too fast. He's obviously given that spiel 100 of times. He should slow down so people can assimilate what he is saying.

Supportive, listened to questions and concerns, related treatment options well, very good bedside manner.

Dr. Ian White was incredible. He was thorough, friendly, caring, educational, brilliant, and also his ability to communicate were incredible. I admire Dr. White's skills. Based on his bio and meeting with him I believe the only thing he may not be able to do is dance.

I think Dr White had more time during this visit and he therefore took more time listening and taking notes.

I would recommend Dr. White.
