Reviews
4.6 of 5 stars
186 Ratings, 25 ReviewsThe ratings and comments seen on provider profiles are gathered from patient surveys, which are conducted by an independent patient satisfaction organization called Press Ganey. Star ratings are only displayed for surveyed Overlake providers who have accumulated 30 or more survey responses in outpatient clinical settings. While we are committed to publishing both positive and negative comments, we also maintain a rigorous process to review and remove comments that are profane, libelous, unrelated to the provider, or violate patient privacy.

Dr. Orlino is a GREAT physician. I hope to remain under his medical care for as long as I am live.

Dr Orlino is a good listener, is patient while I try to explain my problems, and is thorough in answering my questions. He also writes very clear instructions and gives a printed copy at the end of the session. He is efficient but not rushing, and has a courteous and friendly manner.

Both physician and practitioner were pleasant to work with and took extra time to listen to my concerns.

Visit started out kind of pressured. Then the provider relaxed and the conversation and exchange was pleasant

Visiting Dr Orlino is always a pleasant experience. We both ask questions of each other and manage to get to the nub of things easily.

2nd visit with Dr. Orlino. Never listened to my concerns.

I had already answered this survey months ago, but was asked to respond again. I had a negative experience with Dr. Orlino: I felt that he did not listen to me about my problems, and when he did address them it felt very dismissive. I also asked him to renew a prescription from my previous doctor, and sent over the appropriate information, but Dr. Orlino refused to even acknowledge the request. I would not recommend him to anyone.

The provider seemed a little judgemental during the visit. He said this particular visit was "making him work extra" which should not be pointed out to a patient.

At times of visits, seems a little rushed.

I really liked the doctor. He was very polite, attentive and positive. All the staff were polite and the translator too.

I had said that I was feeling significantly depressed, and had suicidal thoughts. I've been at an extremely low point with my mental health, but holding on hope for treatment. I felt like my doctor did not listen -- he recommended counseling and a new psychiatrist, but said they would reach out to me. They have not done so. I did not get the psychiatrist's name. I do not think the doctor took note that I requested DBT, as talk-based therapy has not worked for me in the past. Most of the conversation was not about the issues I presented, but a slightly patronizing discussion on general health. This would be fine if I made an appointment for a physical, but I specifically made an appointment for a prescription refill. It felt like the standard get-in-get-out visit that I've had with so many other doctors. I'm fine staying with Overlake, but disappointed that it's no different.

He was showing empathy during our conversation

Recommended seeing a psychologist for another diagnosis because mine was 10 years old, regardless of having a script from another state for the treatment

Dr. Orlino is great

I just felt like the doc was rushed and he interrupted my sentences.

Suitable courses of action were proposed then explained to drive them into memory.
