We understand that recent communications about contract negotiations between MultiCare Health System and Premera Blue Cross may raise questions or concerns. We want to provide clear reassurance:
- Your coverage at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is NOT impacted.
- Overlake Medical Center & Clinics remains in network with Premera.
There are no changes to your access to care, providers or benefits when receiving services at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics facilities.
What You May Be Hearing
MultiCare is currently in active negotiations with Premera regarding reimbursement rates and contract terms. If a new agreement is not reached, MultiCare facilities and providers could become out of network for Premera members beginning July 1, 2026.
Important distinction:
- MultiCare: May be affected by contract negotiations.
- Overlake: Not included in these negotiations at this time and remains fully in network.
What This Means for You
If you are a Premera member receiving care at Overlake:
- You can continue to schedule appointments as usual.
- Your providers remain in network.
