Nursing Students
RN Student Clinical Placements: Overlake Medical Center partners with local colleges and universities to provide clinical placements annually for over 300 nursing students. Please reach out to your school to inquire about opportunities.
Nursing Technician Program: Employment opportunities for nursing students enrolled in an ADN or BSN program who have completed at least one clinical rotation and are looking to practice skills learned in school and expand their scope of practice. For more information, please contact Haruun.Muse@overlakehospital.org.
Note: Nurse Tech positions are permanent jobs. We are not offering temporary summer positions at this time.

High School Students: Overlake Medical Center supports local high school students who require clinical observation hours to complete a Nursing Assistant Certified program. Please contact your high school to learn more about this unique opportunity and eligibility.
Student Placements for Healthcare Professionals in an Outpatient Clinic Setting
Student Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must attend a Washington State school (out-of-state may be considered for Overlake employees).
- Must pass a WA State Patrol Background check
- Must meet all health clearance requirements (immunizations and annual TB testing)
