Recipe: Healthy Holiday Mocktail

print page Print

Nothing feels more festive than a holiday beverage to celebrate the season. This holiday mocktail will give you all of the holiday cheer—while boosting your health, too! Hibiscus has potent anti-hypertensive properties, meaning that it can help lower blood pressure (which can be at an all-time high during the holiday season)! Both hibiscus and pomegranate are strong antioxidants, which protect the body from cellular damage.

This mocktail is refreshing and well-balanced. The hibiscus is tart and fruity, while the pomegranate is sweet and juicy. Bubbles, in the form of sparkling water, make the mocktail sparkle without the harmful effects of alcohol consumption. No need to consume this drink in moderation—cheers!
