KIRO TV's Alison Grande told the story of Catherine Teng, an emergency nurse at Overlake Medical Center. As part of Emergency Nurses Week, Catherine shares her experience in the ED team environment and her own experience with COVID-19.

From the story, "Teng, 33, started at Overlake more than five years ago. She told KIRO 7 she likes working in the emergency department, where it is fast-paced and you never know what’s coming next.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge she met head-on, eager to do all she can to help patients and their families. Overlake stated Teng has been a standout front-line worker during the entire pandemic."
