Overlake Medical Center & Clinics' urologic oncologist Khanh Pham, MD, joined New Day Northwest's Amity Addrisi to discuss the importance of prostate health, understanding various prostate-related ailments and undergoing regular screenings and checkups, especially for men over the age of 50.

In this interview, Dr. Pham also highlighted a revolutionary treatment option for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate, known as Aquablation therapy. This minimally-invasive treatment option helps relieve a variety of symptoms ranging from frequent and painful urination, bladder strain and many other difficulties that can impact a patient’s relationships, ability to achieve restful sleep, sexual function, and more.

"It’s essentially a robotic computer that helps the surgeon be more precise with removing excess prostate tissue that might be obstructing the urinary tract," said Dr. Pham.
