At Overlake, our patients’ needs determine the programs we offer. Overlake is a leader in providing quality psychiatric services to the Puget Sound community. Professional multidisciplinary care is given with compassion and deep concern. These are the foundation of everything we do.
The focus of each treatment plan addresses the individual’s needs and incorporates the holistic approach to include family, school/occupation, outpatient providers and community as appropriate.
Giving patients the least restrictive level of care is always our goal, too. The focus of each treatment plan is the person and we use a holistic approach to include family, school/occupation, outpatient providers and the community.
Adult Medication Management
This elective service provides an appointment when it’s needed. We offer this service to help patients bridge the gap between hospital visits and/or lengthy waits for outpatient psychiatric appointments.
Track all medications, vitamins and dietary supplements including reason for use, dosage and frequency. Download the medication tracker to print a hard copy, and download the medication tracker to keep an electronic account of your medications.
Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is done on an outpatient basis and is scheduled Monday through Friday at 2 p.m. This treatment is generally given three times per week for a course of three weeks. This therapy remains one of the most effective therapies for the treatment of depression, when other types of therapy and medicine have not been successful.
