U.S. News & World Report Names Overlake Among Best Hospitals for 2026-2027 in Washington State
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is pleased to once again be recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top hospitals in Washington state.
In its 2026–2027 edition, the publication named Overlake a "Best Regional Hospital," ranking the healthcare system among the top eight hospitals in Washington state and fifth in the Seattle area. This honor was achieved by demonstrating superior patient outcomes, earning Overlake "High Performing" status in the following 14 adult procedures and conditions:

- Heart Arrhythmia
- Heart Attack

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions; less than half earned recognition in any of those 37 areas of care. To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
