Overlake Recognized in Becker’s ‘100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Heart Programs’ 2023 List

We are excited to share that Becker’s Hospital Review has included Overlake in its 2023 list of "100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Heart Programs.” Healthcare facilities highlighted in this list are “renowned for their exemplary heart care, patient outcomes and leading technology,” according to Becker’s.

Team members at Overlake’s David and Shelley Hovind Heart & Vascular Center strive to provide the most cutting-edge and advanced care to patients on the Eastside, which, just this past year, has received national attention by U.S News & World Report and multiple awards by the American Heart Association.  In addition, Healthgrades has named Overlake’s Cardiac Surgery program as one of the Top 10% in the nation.

Overlake Medical Center offers a full range of resources for the treatment and prevention of heart and vascular-related diseases. In its list, Becker’s noted the renowned Ozaki procedure for aortic valve repair performed at Overlake—which continues to be the only medical facility west of the Mississippi River to offer this treatment option—and the completion of the heart and vascular team’s 1,000^thtranscatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure.
