We are pleased to announce that Becker’s Hospital Review named Overlake Chief Nursing Officer Michelle Curry, RN, on its 2025 list of hospital and health system CNOs to know.

“Beyond overseeing nursing departments, these executives lead innovative initiatives that elevate care quality and strengthen clinical excellence across their organizations,” state’s Becker’s in a news release. “With a powerful blend of hands-on clinical expertise and executive leadership, CNOs play an essential role in advancing healthcare and supporting the nurses who deliver care every day.”

Curry was named chief nursing officer in October 2018. She joined Overlake Medical Center in January 2015 as director of patient care support services, inpatient behavioral health and the emergency department.

She is recognized as a visible advocate for nurse wellbeing who supported peer support structures that have helped reduce the hospital's turnover rate to its lowest levels.
