Overlake Announces Brandy Slade as Chief Nursing Officer
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is pleased to announce that Brandy Slade, MHA, BSN, RN, has accepted the role of chief nursing officer (CNO), effective June 29, 2026.
Slade joined Overlake in 2016 as clinical nurse manager of the Bariatric Center of Excellence and General Surgery Unit. She later advanced to clinical nurse director, overseeing General Surgery and Bariatrics, Orthopedic and Spine Surgery, the Extended Recovery Unit, the Medical Unit, Renal Dialysis, and Clinical Education and Nursing Professional Development.
Slade succeeds Michelle Curry, RN, BHA-IS, MBA, who is retiring from Overlake.

“I am confident that Brandy’s leadership, expertise and commitment to excellence will continue to strengthen our nursing practice and support exceptional care for our patients and community,” said Jon Duarte, Overlake president and CEO.
In addition to her work at Overlake, Slade serves on the Bellevue College Foundation Board of Directors.
“I am honored and excited to step into the role of chief nursing officer at Overlake,” Slade said. “Having grown alongside this organization, I am deeply committed to advancing our culture of excellence, supporting our nursing teams and continuing to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the patients and communities we serve.”
