If you are planning to have your baby at the Overlake Childbirth Center, knowing where to go and what to do ahead of time can help reduce stress when you go into labor. Many families also get to know our Childbirth Center when they take one of our classes before their baby is born.
How to Get to Overlake Childbirth Center and Where to Park
When you get to the Overlake Medical Center campus, here’s how to get to our Childbirth Center:
- Follow signs to Garage 1 (South).
- After you park, take the parking elevator to Level 1.
- Take the Building 1 public elevator on your right to Level 2.
- Check in at the Labor & Delivery reception desk.
If you feel like you are going to have your baby and are not going to make it to labor and delivery in time:
- Call Labor & Delivery at (425) 688-5351.
- Follow signs to the Emergency Room (ER) on NE 10th Street.
- Park in the surface lot.
- Enter through the ER entrance.
- Use the Building 1 public elevator on your right.
- Go to Level 2 for the Labor & Delivery reception desk.
