Outpatient Psychiatry
Overlake is a leader in providing quality outpatient psychiatric services to the Puget Sound community. Professional multidisciplinary care is given with compassion and deep concern. These are the foundation of everything we do. The focus of each treatment plan addresses the individual’s needs and incorporates the holistic approach to include family, school/occupation, outpatient providers and community as appropriate. To make an appointment or to get information, please contact the outpatient psychiatry clinic at (425) 688-5460.
Adult Day Hospitalization Program
Overlake Medical Center’s Adult Partial Hospitalization Program is based on the belief that patients seeking care for psychiatric illnesses should have an option to engage in intensive treatment while also minimizing disruption to family, work or school and community. Patients must self-refer to this program, or receive a physician referral.
Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
The Overlake Behavioral Health Unit offers two programs. The first is an inpatient group-therapy focused mental health stabilization program designed to get a patient out of crisis, so that they are safe and not a harm to themselves or others. The second is a dual-diagnosis program that helps stabilize acute mental health needs and addresses substance use disorders. Patients must be referred from their physician or an Emergency Room.
Our compassionate mental health professionals help patients address their immediate mental health needs in a welcoming and safe environment focused on healing. The unit was designed to feel like a meditation garden rather than a medical facility and includes:
- 14 inpatient rooms with private bathrooms and showers.
- Private rooms where patients can receive care and interact with providers.
- Rooms dedicated to group therapy.
